Being green is easy at the KC Green Fair!
Residents invited to Sept. 17 event at Ilus Davis park to win prizes and learn more about local initiatives

The City of Kansas City, Mo., invites residents to attend the 2015 KC Green Fair on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ilus Davis Park, which is conveniently located downtown across the street from City Hall, 414 E. 12th St.

At the fair, residents will learn more about how local businesses and organizations are contributing to the sustainability of the region, and the positive impacts of adopting a green lifestyle. Participants may also visit the KC Green table to receive a free ‘green bag’ and enter to win a variety of prizes, such as a rain barrel, free passes to Science City, and a weather alert radio.

Eco Elvis will emcee the event and provide musical entertainment, and concessions from local food trucks will be available at the fair for purchase.
