You have probably heard by now that fermented foods will make your micro-biome practically squeal with glee, especially after indulging in some less-than-good-for-you late night eats. But have you seen the price tag on some of that artisan kimchee? And does going the DIY route feel like you should be attending culinary school?

Fear not the fermentation! We have the perfect class for you! Join us at Fair Share Farm to learn more about the world of fermentation. Using ingrediants directly from the farm Tom will guide you as you create your own batch to take with you.

Tomatoes 101!

We believe that heirloom tomatoes are one of the best things about summer. We are super excited that one of KCFC member farmers will share some of his secrets to growing fantastic tomatoes.

Join John Cobine as he walks you through the basics of tomatoes: types of tomatoes, heirlooms vs hybirds, sowing, transplanting and caring for them. This is a hands on workshop and each person will get their own flat, insert and a dome to start up to 50 plants.

Cobinsteinz Farm is an organic vegetable farm that focuses on sustainable practices and growing methods with an emphasis on heirloom and unique varieties. Cobinsteinz Farm is known for is growing over 300+ varieties of tomatoes.
