Homestead Hill Farm & Nursery is owned and operated by Tom and Sherry Lambert and six of their children. The farm is 35 acres and has a 60' dome greenhouse for production as well as 1/2 acre for outside growing. We also offer nursery plants to beautify your yard, fruit trees, and bushes to grow your own food. We have homemade soap and other natural body care products, naturally grown eggs, pasture raised chicken, breads and baked goods, jams and jellies, and unique indoor and outdoor furniture hand crafted and re-purposed by the family.
Our farm is open 6 days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8 am to 7 pm. Saturday 8 am to 5 pm and Sunday Noon to 4. Tuesday will be a delivery day for our CSA shares to the KC area. Delivery drop points will be determined later.
You may choose to pick up your weekly box at the farm on Saturday mornings or, for a $50 per year delivery fee, meet at one of our drop points in the KC area. Our drop points will be determined later with the best, most convenient locations for the most members.
Our season begins the first week of May. We have a ***50 week*** produce season with full share packages at $1000 if paid in full or $200 deposit with $85 a month paid the first week of each month and a $50 per year per CSA member delivery fee. We offer a half share at $550 per year with a $50 per year per CSA member delivery fee. Half shares must be paid in full.
Micro-greens, lettuce, beets, tomatoes, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, carrots, corn, green beans, peas, egg plant, kohlrabi, broccoli, cauliflower and much much more.
We offer year round produce! We not only have wonderful produce, melt in your mouth, pasture raised chicken, excellent eggs, bountiful baked goods, sensuous soaps and body care products, but we are also HOME OF THE $4.97 PLANT.
