At Spring Creek Farm near Baldwin City, we believe that food is at its best when it is fresh and natural. We grow about 90 different varieties of the tastiest local produce available using organic and sustainable farming methods.
Almost all of our varieties are HEIRLOOMS, with our heaviest production in MELONS (including FRENCH CHARANTAIS), 15 VARIETIES OF TOMATOES, & SWEET POTATOES. Also EGGS from pastured hens.
We offer a 18 week CSA with deliveries to Baldwin & Gardner.
You can also find our produce at The Merc and Wheatfield’s in Lawrence, and at the Saturday Downtown Lawrence Farmers Market.
We expect to receive organic certification at end of 2010. You’ll love what we bring to your table!

Stephanie started Spring Creek Farm in Baldwin, Kansas in 2005 and has maintained full-year production ever since. Spring Creek produces 90+ varieties of naturally grown vegetables, specializing in heirloom tomatoes, melons and sweet potatoes. The farm also has around 50 laying hens. Stephanie sells her produce at the Lawrence Farmers Market and to area restaurants and grocery stores. She also has a growing CSA program.

Spring Creek Farm is a fourth-year farm near Baldwin City that uses organic and sustainable growing practices. We grow a small amount of berries and a large variety of vegetables, greens and roots. About 90% of the varieties we grow are heirloom, and our biggest crops are tomatoes, root crops and melons. We have three hoop houses in production. Our cultivated field space is approximately 2 acres. Our market consists of sales to natural groceries and several restaurants in Lawrence and Topeka, the Downtown Lawrence Farmers Market, and a CSA of approx. 25 distributed in Baldwin City and Gardner, KS. We can offer a paid apprentice 20+ hours weekly, and also desire a volunteer apprentice. We do not offer room and board.
