This Year's Annual Expo will be a DOUBLE-HEADER!

This event is organized by the Kansas City Food Circle, a Project of Heart of America Action Linkage (HAAL - a 501c3 non-profit organization), and co-sponsored by the Sierra Club, the Kansas City Greens, the Food Circles Networking Project of the Missouri Extension, Growing Growers and others. We will be advertising the availability of organic vegetables (on-site and by subscription), free range and natural meats, seedlings and plants, the new Food Circle Producers Directory, and info on gardening and sustainable agriculture. Over 1100 eaters attended last year's two events.

Qualifications

• You are a local producer...within 150 miles of KC, or talk to us if you are further away.
  
• Farmers need not be certified organic, but need to use organic growing methods for fruits and vegetables.
  
• For meats and dairy: use no growth promotants or hormones; no antibiotics and domestic animal byproducts in feed, and animals have ample access to healthy outdoor environments (free range).
  
• Pastured poultry qualifies.
  

Cost

• At Shawnee $35.00 for 6 foot table of exhibit space, $55 for a 12 foot table.
